Dr. Susan Hughes Paul

Susan Hughes was born in south Louisiana. At the age of three, she moved with her family to the farming community of Acme, LA. There she grew up surrounded by a variety of animals. During that time, she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Susan attended Louisiana State University in Baton Rouge and after three years of undergraduate studies, she applied to and was accepted into the LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. While still in school, she married Phillip Paul. After her graduation from LSU SVM in 1995, she joined Dr. Lefebvre, Sr. at Lefebvre Veterinary Medical Center. She and Phillip have made Monroe their home with their two children Maranda and Jenna.
