Dr. Amy Bonin Christ

Dr. Amy Bonin Christ, a native of Monroe, graduated from Neville High School and received her undergraduate degree from Louisiana Tech University. While in college and not knowing her exact future plans, Dr. Amy decided to take the advice of her grandfather, "Make sure that you are always able to whistle on your way to work." Dr. Amy found that she would always be able to whistle if she followed her passion of caring for animals and followed the calling of veterinary medicine.

Since graduating from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2005, Dr. Amy has practiced veterinary medicine in New Orleans, Lafayette, and Eunice. When not working, she can be found reading, riding bikes, and spending time with her two children, Eva and Jackson, and their dog Julia Roberts.
